Our lives are shaped not only by our own experiences but also by the stories, strengths, and patterns passed through generations. This special Kundalini Yoga meditation class invites you to explore those influences through breathwork, gentle movement, meditation, and deep relaxation. Rather than approaching ancestral healing as an intellectual exercise, we will cultivate awareness through the wisdom of the body and the quieting of the mind.
Scheduled during Samhain—the Celtic New Year and a season traditionally associated with remembrance, reflection, and honoring those who came before us—this class offers an opportunity to pause, release what no longer serves, and consciously choose what you wish to carry forward. Together, we will explore themes of forgiveness, gratitude, resilience, and healing, with the intention of bringing greater freedom and compassion into our own lives and future generations.
This class is appropriate for both beginners and experienced students. No previous Kundalini Yoga experience or particular spiritual beliefs are required.
About the instructor: Larissa Jones has spent more than two decades teaching natural health, massage therapy, yoga, and personal development in colleges, community education programs, and professional seminars throughout the United States and internationally. As an educator for Nature's Sunshine, she presented seminars across the U.S., Canada, South Korea, and Russia, teaching herbal medicine, nutrition, and holistic wellness.
Her local teaching experience also includes TAO Institute, Provo College, University of Utah Extension, and Salt Lake Community Education, where she has taught courses in Developing Intuition, Kundalini Yoga, Aromatherapy, Astrology, Tarot, and Meeting Your Angels and Guides. She is also the author of Aromatherapy for Body, Mind and Spirit, which was selected as a course textbook at Healing Mountain Massage School.
Known for her engaging and encouraging teaching style, Larissa combines practical instruction with thoughtful discussion, helping students build both knowledge and confidence. She believes learning is most meaningful when students actively participate, ask questions, and experience concepts for themselves. Her goal is not simply to share information, but to help students develop practical skills, deeper self-awareness, and the confidence to continue exploring long after class has ended.
