Floral Design Fundamentals

Learn the basic skills and techniques of selecting, handling, and designing flowers in this hands-on 3-Class Series. Each class, your instructor will demonstrate essential floral design principles and mechanics, using gorgeous seasonal flowers and discussing past and current trends. You'll make your own creations to take home. Students must bring their own floral scissors or snips and bypass pruners. All other supplies, flowers, organic materials, and containers will be provided.

About the instructor:  A professional designer and retail florist for more than 30 years, Pamela Olson has created floral art for mountain top weddings and film festivals, for U.S. presidents and the Dalai Lama. She shares her knowledge of design fundamentals, curated resources, and a passion for flowers that she strives to inspire in others.
