Students will design, carve, and print a small wood block ~3”x4” on 5”x7” paper. Each student will go home with the wood they carved and several printed copies. Students are welcome to trade prints with other students.
About the instructor: Jeanette Lukens is a relief print maker working mostly with wood and linoleum blocks that are hand carved and hand printed. Jeanette participates regularly in juried art shows and markets throughout Utah, and teaches printmaking workshops in several locations. She has work in the Salt Lake Community College Permeant Collection, and was Tracy Aviary’s first Artist in Residence in 2025 and 2026.

Participants must be 18 years to 120 years old when the program starts.
