You already get by in French. Now it’s time to really talk. This course is for learners who can handle everyday situations and want to move from “getting by” to expressing themselves with ease. Each 90-minute class follows one theme: a film scene, a news headline, French food and regions, humor, work life. You watch authentic French with little or no subtitles, pick up the grammar that comes with it, and spend most of the class speaking in small groups.
About the instructor: Pascaline Garrigues is a native of France: born in the west, raised in Provence, she has lived in Paris, Lyon, Grenoble and Marseille and knows the country's regions, food and traditions inside out. A lifelong lover of French art, culture, sport outdoor and gastronomy, she loves sharing not only the language but the whole French art de vivre. Her classes are built on games, quizzes and laughter, because she believes adults learn best when they're having fun.
